The Hollow Ghost Items

How to get the ghost items in The Hollow Roblox event from Plus subscribers, developers, admins, and Video Stars.

Prepared 31 October 2026 · Sources checked 31 October 2026

There are four ghost shoulder pets in The Hollow. Each one is fired from a different account type's launcher: Plus subscribers, Twin Atlas developers, Roblox administrators, and Video Stars. You do not need that role yourself; stand near the launch and collect the ghost when it appears.

The Roblox Wiki lists the four names and conditions. BloxGuides repeats the same list. SharkBlox's launch-day video maps the colors to the launcher roles, which is useful when a ghost appears in a crowded hub.

How to catch a ghost

The launcher fires a ghost into the hub. The ghost is a physical collectible, not a code or a shop item. Move toward it and touch it before it disappears. The catch is usually automatic on contact.

  1. Stay in the main hub where players gather, especially near the theater entrance.
  2. Watch for a ghost flying out of a player's launcher.
  3. Move into its path and touch it.
  4. Check your inventory or avatar editor for the shoulder pet.

The launch is not a guaranteed server event. You may need to join during a creator stream or wait near a Plus player. The official announcement confirms the Plus launcher exists; it does not publish a spawn timer or a per-server guarantee.

The Plus launcher is a gift tool

Roblox's announcement says active Plus subscribers receive an exclusive item launcher they can use to gift items to other players during the event. That is why non-Plus players can still collect a ghost: the launcher belongs to the sender, not the receiver.

Plus also includes early hub access, a profile frame and background, the event theme, and Plus-only shop stock. The launcher is a separate benefit from the free ghost pets it can produce.

What happens after the event

The cited sources do not say whether the ghosts become unobtainable after November 2, whether they return to the Marketplace, or whether the launchers stop working. Treat the event window as the reliable acquisition period.

If you are missing one ghost, the practical options are to wait near Plus players for the common white ghost, or watch the hub's creator schedule for a developer, admin, or Video Star session. The admin ghost is the rarest of the four by award count in the Timesaver snapshot.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Roblox Plus to get a ghost?

No. You only need to be near someone who is firing a launcher. Plus is required to fire the Little Plus-tergeist yourself.

Are the ghosts free?

Yes. They are collected from launcher drops, not purchased with tickets or Robux.

Can I get all four ghosts solo?

Not reliably. The developer, admin, and Video Star launchers depend on those account types being in your server. The Plus ghost is the easiest to find because Plus subscribers are common.

Will the ghosts disappear after November 2?

The cited sources do not confirm post-event availability. The safe assumption is that the event window is the intended acquisition period.
