Three ways to start
- Floor 2 secret room: the hub's second floor can contain a random room with Ao Oni and a portal.
- Direct game entry: open AOONI Nightmare and select the Hollow mode.
- Hub poster: in the Little Shop of Terror, press E on the AOONI poster on the right wall.
Start on Easy. The objective is collection, not survival difficulty, and Easy gives you more room to search the classrooms.
Where the pumpkins spawn
The Search classroom is the main farm. Check both floors, the hallway, and the areas near the dolls. The gym also spawns a small number. The Escape classroom has none.
The classes rotate. If you have cleared Search and Gym, finish the round and continue into the next class rather than searching Escape. The counter persists until you reach 50.
Caught or dead: the conflicting penalty
TechWiser's page says being caught by Ao Oni removes your collected pumpkins, while its FAQ says death does not. The two statements may distinguish being grabbed from losing all health, but the source does not explain the difference.
Until the game's own counter confirms otherwise, play cautiously: keep distance from Ao Oni, avoid unnecessary rooms, and check the pumpkin counter after a close call. If the counter resets, the run is the cost; if it does not, you can keep farming.
Claim the Fuwatty Side Satchel
After 50 pumpkins, return to The Hollow hub. Confirm the badge popup for 10 tickets. Then take the elevator to Floor 2 and find the secret room behind the blue barrier.
The pedestal is in the right-hand corridor of that secret room. The room's position is random, so search Floor 2 until you find the blue barrier. Interact with the pedestal to claim the Fuwatty Side Satchel.
If you cannot find the room, replay Floor 2 and check the side corridors. The claim is not at the main hub spawn like the Nightly game pedestals.
