Enter the Hollow lobby
Use the Animal Hospital portal in The Hollow hub. The event has a separate Hollow lobby; choose it and start a new run. You can play solo or with up to four other players for a party of five.
Shift 1 is effectively the tutorial. Treat the patients, finish the shift, and wait for the day to end. The Hollow objective begins on Shift 2.
Clean the slime and collect the pages
On Shift 2, a Hazmat worker arrives and gives you a vacuum tool. Use it to clean every slime patch in the hospital. Some patches hide photographs; pick those up as you go.
Clear the rooms methodically. The pages are the puzzle input, so a missed slime patch can leave you with an incomplete picture and an unsolvable board.
Solve the reception slide puzzle
After the slime is cleared, go to the front lobby and find the puzzle board in front of the patient counter. The collected photographs are scrambled into a sliding tile puzzle.
- Click a tile next to the empty space to move it.
- Work the border pieces into place first, then the center.
- Use the picture fragments as a guide to the correct arrangement.
- When the image is restored, finish the shift.
There is no published time limit or move count. If the board looks impossible, recheck the rooms for a missed page before resetting.
Finish Shift 3 and claim the Mimic Hoodie
Wait for Shift 3. The Hazmat worker returns; talk to them again to complete the Hollow objective. The Mimic Hoodie is awarded, and you can claim the display at the Animal Hospital door in the hub.
The quest also pays 10 tickets. If the hoodie does not appear, check that you spoke to Hazmat on Shift 3, not only on Shift 2.
What can fail the run
- Wrong medicine: giving a patient the wrong treatment can kill them.
- Mimic attacks: the Mimic lowers your sanity when it reaches you.
- Three mistakes: three errors or zero sanity ends the run.
- Missed pages: a missed photograph can leave the slide puzzle incomplete.
Play the normal hospital loop carefully while you clear the event objectives. The Hollow tasks are added on top of the standard patient management, not a separate combat mode.

Is the slime purple or pink?
